APPROXIMATE GUIDELINES

Each item has to be fermented for 0/3/5/7 days and they have to be sprayed in the field after stirring the solution.. So we have to start fermentation little early and adjust our schedule.

If D day is fixed for cultivation, work back and fix the starting day for initial operation.

Work to be done in the beginning:

1. Plough the land properly with suitable depth.

2. Take handful of soil from the ploughed land and mix with each solution in the beginning.

3. When the final solution is ready it should be sprayed only during evening time.

One acre of land means 200 ltrs of water for spraying. So we have to calculate the quantity for each item.

General procedure for fermentation

Take one suitable earthen pot and put the solution in pot and close the lid and keep the pot inside earth at a depth of about two feet. Cover with soil. Depending upon fermentation period specified ,leave the pot inside earth.

OPERATIONS FOR MAKING SOLUTION:

1st day evening 4 p.m. soak one kg allam (ginger) add 1 ltr water and grind well and put in pot.Procedure already described. 8th day evening 4 p.m. stir this for 90 minites in Vessel after adding 90 ltrs of water, in clock wise direction. Then mix this into 200 ltr water and spray in one acre land.

8th day evening 4 p.m. one kg cow dung add water to soak it in pot keep lid close. Follow procedure as specified for this item. Continue for all other items.This is 40 days programme approximately.. At the end on D day start cultivation. Repeat the process after about six months keeping suitable atmosphere for cultivation. Repeat for two years.
